Corey Sindle, Randolph, Sr., Forward

Sindle, a senior from Gloucester, Va., started off the season with eight points through two WildCat wins in which he played a part if five of the team's eight goals scored.  In a 3-0 triumph over Mary Washington to open the schedule, Sindle notched assists on the first two goals of the game.  He followed that with the second hat-trick of his collegiate career in a 5-1 victory over Marymount Univesity (Va.).  Sindle, tops the young ODAC charts in points (8) and goals scored (3), is the only player in Randolph program history to record a hat-trick.

Men's Soccer Honor Roll

James Lawrence, Hampden-Sydney (Jr., M, Midlothian, Va.)
Lawrence began the new year with two goals in the Tigers' 6-1 win over Rosemont on Saturday.  He followed that with an assist on H-SC's goal in a 2-1 loss to Penn St.-Abington.

Andrew Oakes, Randolph-Macon
 (So, F, Fredericksburg, Va.)
Oakes notched the first goal in Randolph-Macon's 2-1 victory over Wesley College on Saturday.  The Yellow Jackets opened the season 1-1 at the CNU Tournament.

Tyler Carbaugh, Roanoke (So, F, Blacksburg, Va.)
Carbaugh, the 2012 ODAC Rookie of the Year, scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Maroons defeated Richard Stockton, 2-1, in their second game at the Roanoke Invitational.  RC previously defeated Averett, 1-0, to open the season.

Brian Cornell, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr., M, Front Royal, Va.)
Cornell scored the second goal in VWC's 2-0 win over Wesley College and the first goal in the Marlins' 3-2 win over Christopher Newport University. It marked VWC's first win over CNU since 2007.
