The three teammates combined for a 21-8 overall singles record, 13-0 in ODAC play during the 2008 season.

Hampden- Sydney (14-3, 8-1 ODAC) looks to take that next step forward behind junior standout William Moss.  Moss was has won the past two ODAC Player of the Year awards (2007 and 2008), having also earned the league's top rookie honor in 2007.  He has yet to lose an ODAC regular season match in Tiger colors.  Also back for H-SC is reigning ODAC Rookie of the Year and All-ODAC First Team selection, Rich Pugh, who finished 15-2 overall in the 2008 season.

Third-ranked Roanoke will be led by First Team All-ODAC selection Sam Sherrill, who finished with a 13-5 record.  Alongside Sherrill is senior teammate and doubles partner, Sam Jordan.  The tandem went 5-4 last year, 4-2 in the ODAC on the way to an All-ODAC Second Team selection at #2 doubles.
