Drew Tomajczyk, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., #4 Singles, #3 Doubles

Tomajczyk, a senior from Newport News, Va., posted a 4-0 week to lead Virginia Wesleyan to a pair of ODAC wins, including the first Marlins victory over Washington and Lee in program history.  Tomajczyk was the lone player in VWC's lineup to secure to points against the Generals.  He and teammate Spenser Bullock won 8-2 at #3 doubles.  Tomajczyk then provided the deciding point with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 win at #4 singles to secure a 5-4 Marlins team win and the first ODAC regular season setback for W&L since 2010. Earlier in the week, Tomajczyk helped VWC to a 9-0 victory over Randolph-Macon.  He won 6-2, 7-5 at #4 singles and joined Brendan Kelleher for an 8-1 victory at #3 doubles.

Men's Tennis Honor Roll

Kyle Hartfield, Bridgewater (Jr. - 1/1)
Hartfield went 6-0 last week as Bridgewater picked up wins over Lynchburg (8-1), Randolph-Macon (7-2) and Guilford (6-3). Hartfield posted three wins at #1 singles and three more with Joe Dillenbeck at #1 doubles. In singles play, he topped LC 6-0, 6-0, R-MC 3-6, 7-6, 1-0, and GC 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.  He and Dillenbeck posted doubles wins of 8-1, 8-6, and 8-6, respectively.

Levi Bruff, Guilford (Jr. - 5/3)
Bruff went 4-0 in two ODAC team losses to Roanoke and Bridgewater last week.  At #5 singles, he posted wins of 6-4, 6-0 and 6-3, 6-0.  He and teammate Mesa Martorell claimed wins of 8-3 and 8-5 against the Maroons and Eagles, respectively.

Joey Ross, Roanoke (Jr. - 1/2)
Ross helped Roanoke to wins over Lynchburg (6-2) and Guilford (5-4) last week as he went 4-0 at #1 singles and #2 doubles.  He claimed 6-3, 6-3 and 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 singles triumphs, and joined Holden Branham for 8-4 and 8-5 doubles victories.
