Vigdorchik, a junior from San Francisco, Calif., went 5-1 combined in top flight singles and doubles matches in three ODAC outings for Lynchburg last week. Vigdorchik and Colton Mullins teamed up for an 8-5 win at #1 doubles over Alex Kulvivat and Nicolas Alvarado in the Hornets 7-2 team win over Randolph. Vigdorchik defeated Alvarado, 6-1, 6-1, at #1 singles. In a 6-3 team setback to Guilford, Vigdorcik and Mullins topped Drake Schreiber and Evan Wong, 8-2, at #1 doubles. Vigdorchik won the first set 6-0 and was up 2-0 in the second on Schreiber at #1 singles before the Schreiber was forced to retire. Vigdorchik and Mullins suffered their only loss of the week at #1 doubles via an 8-5 decision from Felix Bevc and Mitchell Perry in an 8-1 team loss to Virginia Wesleyan. Vigdorchik rebounded for a 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (8) win at #1 singles over Bevc, the 2021 ODAC Rookie of the Year.
