NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- Four standouts from Washington and Lee University earned All-American honors from the IWLCA on Wednesday to headline the recognition received by the ODAC women's lacrosse standouts. The four All-Americans are the most in any one season in Generals' program history.
Both ODAC Players of the Year -- defender Eugenie Rovegno (pictured) and attacker Allie Schwab -- earned All-America First Team selections. Attacker Hanna Bishop collected All-America Second Team laurels, while midfielder Shannon Timoney was assigned to the All-America Third Team.
Schwab is now a three-time All-American including two straight appearances on the first team. She was as second team selection in 2021. Rovegno is also a first team choice for a second year running. Bishop appears on an IWLCA All-American list for a second time after earning third team honors in 2022. Timoney had a breakout season to power her to a first All-American award.
