Shearin, a senior from Essex Fells, N.J., helped lead Washington and Lee to a pair of victories over Christopher Newport and Stevenson. In a 10-9 win over CNU, Shearin scored four goals including the game-winner. She also had one draw control and one ground ball. Against Stevenson, Shearin scored twice and assisted on another as the Generals went on to win 10-8. She also had a draw control in that game.

Colley scored six points, all in the second half, in the
Quakers’ 15-14 comeback win over Marymount… assisted
on the game-winning goal with 29 seconds left in regulation…
scored five times to help Guilford overcome a six-goal
deficit… her fourth goal of the game came with 19:37 left
and tied the score for the first time since the first half…
her final score of the day, with 4:40 left, gave Guilford its first
lead of the contest… she also had three ground balls, two
draw controls and one caused turnover.

Lynch had a strong all-around game in R-MC’s opening day win
over Methodist. She scored five goals and added an assist
offensively, then had three draw controls, three ground balls and
four forced turnovers.
Natalie Belva, Virginia Wesleyan, Senior,

Belva helped guide VWC's women to a 16-12 opening-season victory
over Goucher College....she contributed with one goal and a
game-high five assists, all five in the second half as the Marlins
held off the Gophers....Belva also had two ground balls.
