Egan, a senior from Arnold, Md., helped R-MC to a 2-1 week with a 22-point performance. She scored 14 goals and handed out eight assists for the Yellow Jackets. In a loss to Marywood, she scored four goals and added an assist. In a win at Hood, she scored eight goals, had three assists, three groundballs and one caused turnover. Egan capped the week with two goals and four helpers in a win over Cedar Crest. She also grabbed two groundballs and caused three turnovers, giving her six pickups and five forced miscues on the week.
Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Taylor Chamberlain, Bridgewater, Sophomore,
Attack
Chamberlain tallied three hat tricks on the week to help lead
the Bridgewater Eagles women’s lacrosse team to a 2-1 week.
She tallied three goals and two assists in Bridgewater’s
16-15 loss at Ferrum, before turning it on to end the week. On
Thursday against SUNY-IT, Chamberlain posted five goals and two
assists in Bridgewater’s 16-3 victory. Chamberlain rounded
out the week with a career-best game in the Eagles’ 13-11 win
at Greensboro. She tallied six goals and two assists for a
career-high eight points to propel the Eagles to the win.
Lesley Buckingham, Lynchburg, Senior, Attack
Buckingham scored 16 goals in three games last week, leading the
Hornets with 20 total points. Against Virginia Wesleyan College,
she tallied eight goals, four assists, three ground balls, three
draw controls, and four caused turnovers. She had a total of six
caused turnovers last week while only turning the ball over two
times in all three games for LC.
Taylor Klevenz, Randolph, Freshman, Midfielder
Klevenz posted 10 goals, two helpers, eight ground balls, seven
caused turnovers and 23 draw controls over three games and a 1-2
week for the WildCats. She ranks in the ODAC’s top 15 in
goals, draw controls, ground balls and caused turnovers.
