Klein, a senior from North Andover, Mass., led the Generals to a 12-11 overtime win at home against 16th-ranked Christopher Newport in the 2014 season opener.  She scored two goals in the first half to give the Generals a 6-5 halftime lead. She increased the lead to 7-5 after notching the first goal of the second half. After a CNU comeback sent the game to overtime, Klein notched the game-winning goal with 18 seconds left in the second 3:00 minute period to secure the victory. Klein paced the Generals with four goals, one groundball and three draw controls.
