Faria, a first-year from Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y., helped lead then nationally eighth-ranked Washington and Lee to an upset victory in a clash of nationally top-10 rated squads. Faria scored once in the first half and then tallied a pair of second-half goals, including the first of a three-goal spurt to send the game to overtime. Faria tallied the game-winning goal with 1:22 on the overtime clock for a 14-13 victory over then fourth-ranked Salisbury. Washington and Lee has moved up to third in this week's IWLCA coaches poll. For the season, Faria leads the ODAC with 14 goals and is second with 18 points.
