INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Three ODAC teams will enter the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament as both Virginia Wesleyan College and Roanoke College earned at-large bids to join Lynchburg College in the field of 64 teams.  The Hornets will host a four-team regional pod next weekend, while the Marlins travel to Stevens Institute in Hoboken, N.J., and the Maroons make their way to Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.

Lynchburg (19-2-1) squares off with New Paltz State (13-5-2), who are making their first NCAA appearance after winning the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title.  Joining the Hornets and Hawks in Lynchburg will be Rowan University (13-4) and future ODAC member Shenandoah University (15-6-1).  Rowan, which earned at-large bid into the tournament, will be making its eighth overall and seventh straight appearance in the postseason.  Shenandoah won the USA South crown and will be making their inaugural appearance on the national stage.

Virginia Wesleyan (18-3), which finished as the runner-up to Lynchburg in this past weekend's ODAC championship, has not faced any of the teams in its regional pod.  The Marlins open with Williams College in the first round.  The Ephs (10-4-3) earned an at-large bid after seeing its streak of five straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) titles snapped in a loss to traditional rival Amherst College.

VWC and WC will be joined by Westfield State University and host Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J.  The Owls (15-3-1) won the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) crown, marking three conference titles in the last four years.  The host Ducks (14-3-3) won the Empire 8 championship for the second straight year to secure their spot in the field.

While VWC must head north, Roanoke will turn south and head to Emory for its regional action.  The Maroons (14-5-1) will meet Centre College (14-4-2) in the first round.  The Colonels, which earned an at-large bid after falling in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) title game, are making their second appearance in the national tournament.  Regional host Emory (15-0-2) meets Piedmont College (17-2-1) in its first round tilt.  The Eagles completed their first undefeated regular season, having shut out 14 opponents.  The Lions won the Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC) title.

First round action begins on Saturday, November 12*, in 16 four-team regionals around the country.  Second round action is slated for Sunday, November 13.  The sectional round is schedule for November 18-19 at sites yet to be determined.  The national championship series will commence on December 2-3 in San Antonio, Texas.
