Danielle Burris, Sheanndoah, Jr., Midfielder

Burris, a junior from Cooksville, Md., propelled the Hornets to a seeded upset win in the ODAC quarterfinals over regionally-ranked Bridgewater College.  Burris opened the game's scoring in the ninth minute, and later added a 38th minute tally for a 2-0 halftime lead.  She later added an assist on the game's final goal, pushing the Hornets into the semifinals and a matchup with second-seeded Washington and Lee on Wednesday.  Burris ranks eighth in the ODAC with 23 points, leading SU with nine goals and five assists.

Women's Soccer Honor Roll

Angela Bosco, Lynchburg (Sr., F - Long Island, N.Y.)
Bosco helped LC score 21 goals in a pair of wins for the Hornets last week.  She had two goals and two assists in a 10-0 win over Hollins to cap the regular season.  She then scored six times in an 11-0 win over EMU in the ODAC quarterfinals.  She's the first LC player to score six goals in a game, and her 27 goals this season tie a program record.  She's second all-time in the ODAC behind teammate Dessi Dupuy in points (205) and goals scored (82).

Kat Day, Sweet Briar (Jr., GK - Clifton Forge, Va.)
Filling in as a replacement goalkeeper, Day made eight saves in a 1-0 win over Randolph.  The win set new program records in wins (7), ODAC wins (4), winning percentage (.467) and shutouts (5).

Lauren Shular, Virginia Wesleyan (Fr. F - Fairfield, Ohio)
Shular scored twice and dished out an assist in a 5-1 win over R-MC in the regular season finale.  She then assisted on a goal in VWC's quarterfinal win over Roanoke.

Tricia Jessee, Washington and Lee (So., F - Roanoke, Va.)
Jessee scored twice in a 3-1 win at Emory & Henry to cap the regular season.  She then scored once in a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon in the quarterfinals.
