Emily Whitaker, Roanoke, So., Midfielder

Whitaker, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., helped the Maroons to a pair of wins last week, including a 2-0 triumph over regionally-ranked Christopher Newport University.  Whitaker started off her week by assisting on a goal in a 3-0 win at Guilford.  The Maroons returned home to take on CNU, with Whitaker opening the scoring in the 17th minute via an unassisted effort.  She then dished out the assist on Anna Carter's tally in the 44th minute towards an eventual 2-0 win.  Whitaker has seven points on two goals and three assists this season.

Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Hayley Talbott, Bridgewater (So. - GK)
Talbott helped the Eagles to a pair of ODAC shutouts last week, notching two saves in a 1-0 win over Randolph-Macon and one more stop in a 2-0 victory at Randolph.

Morgan Hill, Eastern Mennonite (Sr. - M)
Hill snapped a six-game scoreless drought for the Royals with a goal in the 69th minute of a 2-1 setback to Shenandoah.  EMU also earned a 1-1 draw with Emory & Henry.

Becca Banks, Guilford (So. - GK)
Banks came up with a career-high 11 saves as the Quakers defeated Virginia Wesleyan, 1-0, for the program's first victory over the Marlins since 2006.  She made seven stops in the second half.

Bridget Panas, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - F)
In a 1-2 week for R-MC, Panas registered five points in a 12-0 win over Hollins, scoring once and dishing out three assists.

Erin Septer, Shenandoah (Jr. - GK)
Septer helped the Hornets to a 1-0-1 week.  After going 45 minutes in a 2-1 win at Eastern Mennonite, she went all 110 minutes in a 1-1 draw against fifth-ranked Lynchburg.  She made six saves, including a penalty kick stop in the 76th minute.

Zoe Traficante, Virginia Wesleyan (So. - M)
Traficante scored the Marlins goal in a 1-0 win over Randolph.

Meaghan Latella, Washington and Lee (Sr. - D)
Latella helped the Generals to a 2-0 week with her first hat trick in a 12-0 win at Hollins.  She scord in the 15th, 63rd and 82nd minutes.  W&L also defeated Randolph-Macon, 5-0.
