Erin Septer, Shenandoah, Sr., Goalkeeper

Septer, a senior from Hamilton, N.J., preserved a pair of shutouts in 180 minutes of action to help the Hornets start the season 2-0.  Septer opened the season with three stops and Shenandoah went on the road to defeat Franklin & Marshall College.  She backed that up with two more saves in a 2-0 triumph over Juniata College.  Dating back to last season, Septer has allowed one or fewer goals in 14 straight appearances, a string that includes eight shutouts.

Hayley Talbott, Bridgewater (Jr. - GK)
Talbott had a hand in a pair of shutouts in BC's 2-0 start to the season.  She made five stops in a 1-0 victory at Frostburg St.  She then made a save and in 81 minutes of action in a 2-0 victory over N.C. Wesleyan.

Hannah Walker, Eastern Mennonite (Jr. - D)
Walker helped EMU to a 3-2 victory at Marymount before notching the game-tying goal in the 84th minute to save a point in a 1-1 draw with Chatham.

Alyssa Ruddy, Lynchburg (Fr. - F)
Ruddy got her collegiate career off to a good start with three points in her second game. After a 1-1 draw with Johns Hopkins, she scored once and dished out an assist against Sewanee.  She also earned a penalty kick that was converted into another goal in the Hornets' 4-0 victory.

Christina Newman, Randolph-Macon (Fr. - GK)
Newman combined for 14 saves in two outings for the Yellow Jackets last week.  She made 10 stops spanning the second half and both overtime periods -- 65 total minutes -- in a 1-1 draw at Dickinson. She then came away with four saves in a 1-0 loss to St. Mary's (Md.).

Chandler Vickers, Washington and Lee (Jr. - F)
Vickers helped the Generals to a 1-1 showing to open the season with goals in both contests. She scored the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Elizabethtown.  She then registered W&L's goal in a 2-1 setback at Arcadia.
