Davidson, a sophomore form Virginia Beach, Va., put the Marlins on her back in a road win at Lynchburg for the second of two victories for Virgnia Wesleyan last week. After peppering four shots on-goal in a 2-1 win at N.C. Wesleyan, VWU found itself in trouble down 2-0 at Lynchburg following the Hornets' second tally in the 58th minute. Davidson not only erased the deficit but put the Marlins ahead with three goals down the stretch. She registered her first goal in the 60th minute by burying a free kick and then leveled the score 2-all less than a minute later with a clinical finish. She hammered home the eventual game-winner in the 86th minute to secure a 3-2 comeback victory over the nationally 14th-ranked Hornets. For the season, Davidson is sixth in the ODAC with 13 points. She is seventh with five goals and fifth with three assists.

Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Bailey Kratz, F, BC: Scored once and dished out an assist in a 3-0 win over EMU. She tallied twice in a 17-0 triumph at Hollins, and then notched the first goal in a 2-0 win over Salisbury.

Caitlin Mertens, F, LC: Scored the eventual winner in a 3-2 win at St. Mary's (Md.). Tallied LC's second goal in a 3-2 loss to Virginia Wesleyan.

Emily Whitaker, M, RC: Registered a double-OT tally for the game's only goal in a 1-0 victory over EMU.

Emily Yergin, F, SU: Socred twice in an 8-2 win over Guilford. SU also defeated Stevenson, 4-3, on the week.

Megan Engeland, M/F, W&L: Scored twice in a 4-0 win over Meredith and then notched the first goal in a 2-0 triumph over Randolph-Macon.
