Allen, a senior from Virginia Beach, Va., contributed on both ends of the field in three Lynchburg wins that featured a pair of clean sheets. Allen got forward to score her first collegiate goal as part of a 9-0 ODAC win over Sweet Briar. She then anchored the center of the Hornets defensive unit on a second successive shutout in a 2-0 victory over the University of Mary Washington. Allen again found herself was strong defensively at Washington and Lee over the weekend, but this time she added the game-winning goal with her half-volley into the side netting off a feed from Amanda Wigboldy in the 96th minute clinching a 2-1 Hornets victory. Lynchburg currently stands atop the ODAC standings at 3-0-0 in league play and 8-1-0 overall.
