Washington and Lee to Host Women's Tennis Regional, Generals Men Head to Emory

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The NCAA continued its announcements for spring national championships on Monday afternoon with the release of the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Tennis Tournament fields.  Washington and Lee University will be the lone ODAC representative on either side following the Generals' triumphs in the ODAC men's and women's tennis tournaments.

The women's 49-team field is comprised of 39 Pool A, two Pool B, and eight Pool C bids.  The men's 43-team contingent features 35 from Pool A, three from Pool B, and five from Pool C.  Pool A includes those schools that play in conferences with automatic entries (like the ODAC), while Pool B is classified as true independents or teams that play in a league without automatic qualification.  Pool C are true at-large selections from all schools that host the sport in NCAA Division III.

The NCAA individual and doubles tournament fields will be announced on May 11.
