Haley Andrews, Guilford, Sr., No. 1 Singles, No. 1 Doubles

Andrews, a senior from Riverside, Calif., went 4-0 last week as she helped the Quakers post wins over Lynchburg (7-2) and Virginia Wesleyan (6-2).  Andrews went 2-0 at #1 singles, topping LC, 6-2, 6-2, and VWC, 6-3, 6-4.  She and teammate Allison Hewitt won 8-1 and 8-3 at #1 singles against the Hornets and Marlins, respectively.  The team wins were the first ODAC triumphs for the Quakers this season.

Women's Tennis Honor Roll

Maria Hawkins, Bridgewater (So. - Silver Spring, Md.)
Hawkins won 6-1, 6-3 at #1 singles and 8-4 with Marla O'Bryan at #1 doubles to help the Eagles to an 8-1 team win over Virginia Wesleyan.

Stella Di Michele, Emory & Henry (So. - San Remo, Italy)
Di Michele went 2-0 at #1 singles, defeating Lynchburg, 6-0, 6-1, and Randolph, 6-1, 6-0.  She and Danielle Amoruso won 8-5 at #1 doubles against LC, but fell 8-3 at the same flight to Randolph.

Jenna Sweet, Randolph (So. - Clarksville, Md.)
Sweet won 6-1, 6-4 at #3 singles to help the WildCats to a 5-4 win over Southern Virginia.  She and Dina Velazco won 8-2 at #1 doubles.  In a 5-1 in over Emory & Henry, Sweet's singles match went unfinished, but she and Velazco won 8-3 at #1 doubles.

Allison Hupalo, Washington and Lee (Sr. - Weston, Mass.)
Hupalo helped the nationally 10th-ranked Generals to a 5-4 win over sixth-ranked Carnegie Mellon.  She won 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 at #6 singles.
