Mazzari, a freshman from San Remo, Italy, helped Emory & Henry to a 1-1 team showing by going 4-0 between her matches at #1 singles and #1 doubles.  Mazzari was responsible for two points in the Wasps' 6-0 victory over Virginia Wesleyan. She won 6-0, 6-1 in singles action, and then partner with Savanna Summers to win 8-0 in doubles play.  The duo were back at it against Randolph-Macon as they posted an 8-6 triumph over Randolph-Macon.  Mazzari took the top flight singles match as well, winning 6-0, 6-2.  Mazzari is now 12-0 in all singles matches and 10-2 overall in doubles play.  She and Summers are 8-1 when paired together.

Women's Tennis Honor Roll

Fernanda Gonzalez, Guilford (Sr. - 4/2)
Gonzalez picked up two points in the Quakers 6-3 win over Sweet Briar. She won 6-0, 6-0 at #4 singles, and then joined Leigh Fishman for an 8-3 victory at #2 doubles.

Dina Velazco, Randolph (Sr. - 1/1)
Velazco went a combined 3-1 at #1 singles and doubles in the WildCats 0-2 week. She and Jenna Sweet posted 8-3 and 8-5 wins in top flight doubles action against Randolph-Macon and Guilford, respectively.  She also posted a 7-5, 6-2, singles triumph against the Quakers.

Melissa Tomlin, Randolph-Macon (Jr. - 3/3)
Tomlin helped R-MC to a 2-0 week with a pair of wins each at #3 singles and #3 doubles. She won 6-0, 6-0 in both singles matches against Randolph and Emory & Henry.  She and Molly Jesseman partner for 8-0 and 8-2 victories in double action, respectively.

Molly Barb, Shenandoah (Sr. - 1/1)
Barb went a combined 5-1 at #1 singles and doubles in helping SU to a trio of team wins. She won all three of her singles contests, posting a 6-0, 6-0 win over Mary Baldwin, a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Sweet Briar, and a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hollins. She and partner Caitlin Tilton went 2-1 in doubles play, surrounding an 8-4 loss to SBC with 8-1 wins over MBC and HU.
