Brooke Donnelly, Washington and Lee, Sr., #1 Singles, #1 Doubles

Donnelly, a senior from Kennesaw, Ga., put together a 3-0 week that included a pair of regionally ranked victories as the Generals' posted a 2-1 overall record. In conference play, Donnelly claimed a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Shenandoah at #1 singles. Although she did not compete in doubles, Washington and Lee earned a 9-0 team win. Donnelly then squared off twice in regionally ranked matches against Mary Washington. First, she and partner Tessa Hill made their #2 ranking in the ITA's Atlantic South stand up with an 8-6 victory over Kait Brogan and Taylor Diffey, who are slotted third in the region. Donnelly and Brogan then locked horns in a matchup of the second and 10th-rated singles players in the region, respectively. Donnelly posted a 6-0, 6-3 victory from the #1 flight. She is now 20-3 in all matches this season and 11-1 in dual matches at #1 singles. She and Hill are 7-2 in doubles play from the top ladder position.

Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

Whitney Kiser, Bridgewater (Fr. - 2/1)
Kiser won 6-3, 6-2 at #2 singles and joined Nicole Shifflett on a 9-8 win at #1 doubles in an 8-1 team win over Lynchburg.

Liz Graham, Emory & Henry (So - 2/1)
Graham went 4-0 at #2 singles and #1 doubles as E&H defeated Hollins, 7-2, and Guilford, 8-1. She won 6-1, 6-2 and 6-4, 6-0 in her singles matches. She joined Lauren Riner for 8-2 and 8-6 victories in doubles play.

Melissa Tomlin, Randolph-Macon (3/2)
Tomlin went 5-1 at #3 singles and #2 doubles as R-MC posted wins over Goucher (9-0), Roanoke (5-4), and Shenandoah (9-0). She and Molly Jesseman won 8-5 and 8-0 in doubles play against Goucher and SU. In singles player, Tomlin posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over Goucher, 3-6, 6-2, 6-0 over Roanoke, and 6-1, 6-0 over SU.
