Fleenor, a senior from Chattanooga, Tenn., went 4-0 to start the spring season and help Washington and Lee to a pair of team wins. In a 9-0 triumph over Roanoke, Fleenor wont 6-0, 6-1, over Jessica Kennedy at #1 singles. Fleenor and teammate Lauren Hassell posted an 8-1 victory at #1 doubles over Kennedy and Avery Smith. Then came a showdown of nationally-ranked opponents with the #12 Generals taking down 26th-ranked Christopher Newport University, 8-1. Fleenor came back for a 1-6, 6-4, 10-8 win at #1 singles over Johanna Ranta-aho. She and Hassell posted an 8-3 win at #1 doubles over McKinney Harwood and Alexandra Drye

Women's Tennis Honor Roll

Christina Harris, LC: got her season started with two #1 singles wins and a 1-1 showing at #1 doubles. Helped LC to an 8-1 win over Ferrum with a 6-0, 6-0, singles victory and an 8-0 doubles win with Caroline Guill. In an 8-1 setback to Methodist, Harris made up for an 8-4 loss with Halle Lavieri in doubles play with a 6-0, 6-2, victory in singles action.
