Garcia, a sophomore from Mandeville, La., put together a 5-0 week between singles and doubles play in Washington and Lee's 3-0 week. Garcia did not participate in singles action in a 9-0 ODAC win over Hollins. But she and Lily Horsley teamed up for an 8-0 win at #1 doubles. Then the nationally 23rd-ranked Generals scored an upset win over #20 Washington University in St. Louis via a 5-4 result. Garcia won 6-1, 6-1 at #2 singles over Divya Sharma and joined Horsley for an 8-3 win at #1 doubles. W&L capped its week with a 9-0 win over Centre. Garcia won 6-1, 6-1 at #2 singles over Caroline Stallings and again teamed with Horsley for an 8-2 triumiph at #1 doubles. Garcia is now 6-1 in singles play and 6-2 in doubles matches this season.
