Smith, a senior from Walpole, Mass., helped Randolph-Macon lift the lid on a the spring season with a pair of wins in the Yellow Jackets 6-3 team triumph over Meredith College. Smith paired with Grace Holderman to earn an 8-2 victory over Ellie Osborne and Aly Henneberry at #1 singles. Smith then earned a second point in top-flight singles play as she bested Henneberry, 6-4, 6-4, to complete R-MC's come-from-behind victory.
