Patino, a first-year from Medellín, Colombia, went 5-0 between singles and doubles play to help Sweet Briar pick up a trio of 9-0 victories against teams that were a combined 18-4. The Vixens opened play in Hilton Head, S.C., with a 9-0 victory over Messiah College. Patino partnered with Lily Hurt for an 8-1 win at #3 doubles over Nicole Lee and Hannah Murray. In a team win over Gettysburg, Patino paired with Kate Kotany for an 8-0 victory at #2 doubles over Sarah Guistwite and Julia Gowland. Patino then posted a 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) win over Guistwite at #2 singles. Patino and Kotany remained unbeaten as a doubles pair in helping SBC defeated Division II foe Albany State. The pair won 8-2 over Asia Raulerson and Carla Sorroche at #2 doubles, with Patino following up with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #2 singles over Doylisha Copeland.
