Louise Brooks, Washington and Lee University, Junior - Middle Blocker

Brooks, a junior from Baltimore, Maryland, averaged 11 kills over four matches, including a season-high tying 20 in a 3-2 win over Christopher Newport.  She also posted 10 digs and a season-high six blocks in the win over the Captains.  Brooks added nine kills with a .500 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Roanoke.  In two earlier matches during the week, Brooks combined for 15 kills in a pair of 3-0 wins against Sweet Briar and Guilford.

Nicole Ropp, Eastern Mennonite University, Sophomore - Middle Blocker
Ropp hit .298 in EMU's three matches this week. The sophomore had 10 kills against ODAC-leading Lynchburg and then had 9 kills in just 18 attempts against St. Mary's (Md.). Ropp also kept opponents on their toes at the net as she registered 7 block assists during the week.

Rachel Fertitta, Emory & Henry College, Sophomore - Middle Hitter
The Wasps increased their overall record to 15-4 with a 3-0 win over Randolph this week. Fertitta led the Wasps week with 3.67 kills per game, a .556 hitting pct., 1.00 blocks per game and 6.17 points per game.

Emma Gunn, Guilford College, Sophomore - Middle Hitter
Gunn led Guilford in a 2-2 week with 33.5 points (pps) and 18 blocks (1.38 bps)...averaged a club-best 1.62 kills per set on .174 hitting for the week... had six kills and four blocks in a loss to Bridgewater... led the Quakers with three kills and three blocks in a road loss at Washington and Lee... had five kills on .308 hitting, plus six blocks in a 3-0 win over Salem... had seven kills and five blocks in a straight-set win over Methodist.

Elena Kritter, Lynchburg College, Sophomore - Outside Hitter
Kritter had 12 kills and 14 digs in LC's only match of the week, a four set victory over Eastern Mennonite University. She had a hitting percentage of .444 with two service aces.

Rebecca Leedom Bradford, Virginia Wesleyan College, Junior - Outside Hitter
Bradford continued another outstanding season by recording 31 kills, 34 digs, and 11 services aces in a 2-1 week for the Marlins, including ODAC victories over Sweet Briar and Eastern Mennonite.  She led the Marlins with 16 kills and 17 digs in a non-conference loss to St. Mary's. She also tied a career-high with five aces served against Sweet Briar.  Bradford's dig total increased her career total to 1,103 and her kill total moved her closer to 1,000 with 965.  She leads the Marlins in kills this season and is second in aces and digs.
