Megann Grimes, Bridgewater, Jr., Middle Hitter

Grimes, a junior from Midland, Va., picks up her second weekly award after helping lead Bridgewate to a 3-0 week, including a pair of ODAC wins over Shenandoah (3-0) and Washington and Lee (3-0).  Grimes hit .643 on the week with 28 kills against just one error to go with 11 blocks and five digs from her middle position.  She notched 12 kills and six blocks against Shenandoah, and then followed that with 11 winners and five blocks against the Generals.  Grimes currently leads the ODAC in blocks solos (27) and total blocks (97), is second in attack percentage (.305) and third in total kills (271).

Volleyball Honor Roll

Jessica Goertzen, Eastern Mennonite (Sr., Setter - Goessel, Kans.)
In an 0-3 week for the Royals, Goertzen stepped into the setter's role due to injury and promptly handed out 111 digs for a 9.25 per set average in three matches last week.  She had doubles on assists and digs in all matches, including 51 helpers and 12 digs in a 3-1 loss to Shenanadoah.

Malikah French, Guilford (Sr., Middle Blocker - Durham, N.C.)
In an 0-2 week for Guilford, French collected 15 kills and hit .333 with three total blocks.  She had 10 kills and three blocks in a 3-0 loss at Virginia Wesleyan.

Sierra Strathy, Lynchburg (So., Outside Hitter - Powhatan, Va.)
Strathy helped Lynchburg to wins over Virginia Wesleyan (3-1) and Roanoke (3-1) by collecting 21 kills and hitting .354 from the front line.  She also had six blocks.  She had 14 winners against RC, and registered five blocks against VWC.

Jordan Templin, Randolph (Jr., Outside Hitter - Ferrum, Va.)
Templin helped Randolph to a 2-0 week with wins over Greensboro (3-1) and Hollins (3-0).  She had 37 kills and hit .294.  She smacked 23 winners and picked up 17 digs to go with two blocks against The Pride.

Katie Rossberg, Randolph-Macon (So., Middle Hitter - Madison, Va.)
Rossberg help guide Randolph-Macon to three ODAC wins over Eastern Mennonite (3-1), Guilford (3-0) and Emory & Henry (3-0).  She notched 31 kills and hit .240 to go with 23 digs and four blocks.  She had 16 kills and 10 digs to go with three blocks aginst EMU.
