Courtney Lowers, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Outside Hitter

Lowers, a junior from Suffolk, Va., led the Yellow Jackets to a 2-2 record that included a conference win over Bridgewater to lock up the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament.  Lowers racked up an ODAC-high 62 kills on the week and 4.77 per set, adding to her ODAC-leading marks of 450 kills and 4.50 per set.  She had 24 winners in a 3-0 win over Hardin-Simmons, hitting .538 for the match and picking up six digs and two blocks.  She notched 16 kills and 16 digs in a 3-1 loss to nationally fourth-ranked Wittenberg.  She also had 11 kills apiece in a 3-0 win over Bridgewater and a 3-0 loss to nationally 21st-ranked Trinity (Texas). She had six and nine digs in those matches, respectively.  Lowers also leads the ODAC in total attacks (1,255), points won (507.5) and points won per set (5.1).

Katie Miller, Eastern Mennonite (Jr., DS - San Antonio, Texas)
Miller wrapped up her third season at EMU with 55 digs last week, including 22 in a 3-2 loss to Emory & Henry.  She currently leads the ODAC with 510 digs and 4.90 digs per set.

Casey Davis, Guilford (Fr., S - Thomasville, N.C.)
Davis led the Quakers to a 1-1 week with 10 kills in a 3-0 loss to Roanoke and 7 winners with 12 digs and 13 assists in a 3-0 win over Salem.

Aricquel Payne, Lynchburg (Sr., OH - Woodbridge, Va.)
Payne collected 51 kills and 51 digs in the Hornets 2-1 week, notching a trio of double-doubles.  She had 23 kills with 12 digs in a 3-1 win over Randolph, then added 17 winners and 22 digs in a 3-2 loss to Stevenson.  She had 11 kills and 17 pickups in a 3-0 win over Muhlenberg.

Lauren Hays, Hollins (Sr., MH - Saginaw, Texas)
Hays notched 43 kills and hit .273 with six blocks in HU's 1-3 week.  She had 15 kills and hit .520 in a 3-0 win over NAIA Bluefield College.  She had 14 winners in a 3-1 loss to Ferrum.

Tiffany Barrett, Virginia Wesleyan (So., OH - Stafford, Va.)
Barrett led VWC to a pair of wins last week, securing the second seed in the ODAC tournament.  She had 17 kills and 14 digs in both matches -- 3-1 wins over Roanoke and Averett.  She hit .341 against the Cougars, adding three aces.
