Mackenzie Shand, Washington and Lee, Jr., Middle Blocker

Shand, a junior from Saline, Mich., put together a strong week in leading Washington and Lee to a trio of wins in its first three ODAC matches.  Shand hit .582 from her middle position, committing just four errors in 55 total attacks.  She recorded double-digit kills in each match, hammering out 13 winners and a .600 hitting percentage with three digs and three blocks (1 solo) in a 3-0 win at Lynchburg.  She added 12 kills with two aces and four digs against Hollins (3-0) and 11 more kills versus Randolph (3-0).  She finished with week with 36 overall kills at a 4.0 per game clip, adding in nine digs and five total blocks (3 solo).  Shand currently leads the ODAC in hitting percentage (.407) and is fifth in blocks (0.80/game).

Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Carleigh Studtmann, Bridgewater (So. - MH)
Studtmann registered 28 kills, 13 digs and nine blocks in the Eagles four-match week.  she had 10 winners and four blocks in a 3-2 setback to Roanoke.

Skyler Johnson, Eastern Mennonite (So. - OH)
Johnson continues her transition from defensive specialist to outside hitter, collecting 34 kills and 38 digs with seven aces in the Royals 2-2 week.  She had career-high 11 winners with nine digs and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Ferrum.

Kelsey Ruehling, Guilford (Sr. - OH)
In the Quakers 1-2 week, Ruehling nailed 48 total kills with 29 digs and seven blocks.  She had career-high 24 winners with a school-record nine aces in a 3-2 win over Hollins.  She added 13 and 11 kills in 3-1 losses to Roanoke and Lynchburg, respectively.

Katie Rossberg, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - MH)
Rossberg helped R-MC to a 4-0 week with 41 total kills and 24 digs.  She had 15 winners to with eight digs and a block in a 3-0 win at Eastern Mennonite.  She added 11 and 12 kills in 3-0 wins at Bridgewater and St. Mary's (Md.) respectively.  She combined for 12 digs and two blocks in those two matches.

Allison White, Roanoke (Sr. - OH/MH)
White helped keep Roanoke undefeated (12-0) with 27 kills and four blocks combined in wins over Bridgewater (3-2) and Guilford (3-1).  She had 19 kills and two blocks in the five-set win at Bridgewater.  She finished the week with a .298 hitting percentage, a category in which she ranks second (.307) in the ODAC.

Rachel Roberts, Shenandoah (Jr. - MB)
Roberts helped Shenandoah to a 2-1 week with 22 kills and 12 total blocks.  She had nine kills and seven blocks in a 3-2 win over Lynchburg.  She added six kills and three blocks with a .257 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win at Randolph.

Kirstin Sessoms, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr. - S)
Sessoms continues to keep the VWC offensive moving, racking up 72 assists, 32 digs and seven kills in a 3-1 week.  She matched a career-high with six kills to go wtih 19 assists and nine digs in a 3-0 win over N.C. Wesleyan.  She had 24 assists and 10 digs in a 3-1 loss to Ferrum.
