Miranda Hall, Randolph-Macon, So., Outside Hitter

Hall, a sophomore from Mechanicsville, Va., put together a pair of near-dominant outings at the net to lead the Yellow Jackets to a pair of victories last week. Hall opened with 17 kills powered by a .394 attack percentage in a 3-0 triumph over Marymount (Va.). She added four digs and three blocks while accounting for 18.5 total points for a whopping 6.2 per set. Hall was again efficient with her attacks in a 3-0 win at Eastern Mennonite, registering 10 kills while hitting .292. She chipped in six digs, a pair of assists, and a block on the way to earning 10.5 total points. For the season, Hall has collected 127 kills for 2.95 per set, which ranks eighth in the league.

Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Rachel Gaston, OH, BC: Collected 35 kills with 10 digs and four blocks in the Eagles' 1-2 week. She notched 17 kills in a 3-2 win at Guilford, which followed 15 kills in a 3-1 setback at Averett. She hit .302 and .342 in those two matches, respectively.

Mesa Willis, OH, LC: Hammered 28 kills to go with six blocks in Lynchburg's 2-0 week. Had 15 kills with four blocks in a 3-1 win at Shenandoah. She added 13 kills and two blocks in a 3-2 comeback win over Virginia Wesleyan.

Kylah Blackmore, OH, RC: Went for 26 kills and 46 digs in the Maroons' 0-2 week. Hammered 20 kills and picked up 37 digs in a 3-2 loss to Virginia Wesleyan.

Allison Mackley, DS, VWU: Tied and then broke the VWU record for digs in a match in the Marlins' 1-1 week. Went for 37 digs in a 3-2 loss at Roanoke, then snapped Candice Doloresco's 1995 Marlins record with 48 digs in a 3-2 win at Roanoke.
