LC’s Shelly Milks and Jenny Weir earned First Team All-South Region laurels.  Milks, the 2010 ODAC Player of the Year, finished the season with 29 points on 10 goals and nine assists.  Weir, a 2009 Second Team All-Region pick and a three-time First Team All-ODAC choice, led the conference with 20 goals and tied the conference-high with 10 helpers.

Milks and Weir now go on the NFHCA All-American ballot, which will be released on Monday, November 22.

On the second team, Bridgewater’s Kalah Hess, Lynchburg’s Amanda Wain and Washington and Lee’s Emmy Mathews were all honorees.  Hess, who earned First Team All-ODAC honors for the third-consecutive season, finished the year with three goals and four assists.  Wain, a First Team All-ODAC pick, totaled three goals and dished out five assists.  Mathews picked up her honor for the second time in her career, having also been honored following the 2008 season.  This year, she garnered First Team All-ODAC honors and was named the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year after finishing with 15 points on four goals and a team-high seven assists.
