Weir, a senior from Richmond, Va., picks up her second straight weekly honor and second overall of the 2010 season.  Weir scored two goals in the Hornets' 4-0 win over Randolph-Macon in the only action of the week for Lynchburg.  She currently leads in the ODAC with 36 points and 15 goals.

Mary McCarthy, Randolph-Macon College, Senior, Attack
McCarthy led the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 week as she scored both goals in a 2-0 triumph at Bridgewater on Saturday.

Evan Bunting, Virginia Wesleyan College, Sophomore, Defender
Bunting not only provided outstanding play on defense for the Marlins, but she also contributed big to the offense, scoring a goal and recording two assists in VWC’s 4-1 victory over Roanoke College.  She gave the Marlins a 1-0 lead with a goal 8:12 into the competition and assisted on the Marlins’ go-ahead goal scored with 51 seconds before halftime.  Bunting came through again on the fourth goal, feeding the ball in from the right for the score.

Kelly Tran, Washington and Lee University, Senior, Attack
Tran scored four goals in three games last week, including recording her first-career hat trick in a 4-0 win over Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday.  She also notched one goal in a 4-3 loss at Sewanee.
