KELLY TRAN, Washington and Lee, Senior, Attack

Tran, a senior from Simsbury, Conn., scored two goals and added an assist in two games last week.  Both goals came in a 4-1 win over Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC quarterfinal round.  She also assisted on the game-winning goal in overtime in a 2-1 win over Bridgewater on Wednesday.  Tran is currently tied for third in the ODAC in points (34) and fifth in goals scored (14).

Field Hockey Honor Roll

Becky Nolt, Eastern Mennonite University, Senior, Goalkeeper
Nolt racked up 14 saves Wednesday against 11th-ranked Lynchburg, the third-highest single-game total of her career.  She kept the Lady Royals in the game as they were outshot by a wide margin.  She added two saves in Saturday’s quarterfinal win over Bridgewater, allowing the Eagles’ only goal on a penalty stroke.  Entering this Wednesday’s semifinal game at Lynchburg, Nolt has tied her career best with 108 saves on the season.  She is currently second on EMU’s career saves list with 371 stops.  (The record is 389.)  Nolt is also sixth all-time with 18 career shutouts.

Milks registered two assists in the 3-0 LC win over Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 27.  She is third on the team in points and assists in her second year.
