Strosser, a sophomore from Dover, Del., helped the Eagles to a pair of ODAC wins last week, which put them into second position in the ODAC standings. Strosser had a hand in all three goals in BC's double-overtime victory at Shenandoah, which previously had not lost in conference play. Strosser scored the first goal of the game and then sent to game into overtime with her tally in the 62nd minute. She assisted Taylor Prillaman on the game-winner in the 92nd minute. Later in the week, Strosser assisted on the game's opening goal in a 3-0 home win over Virginia Wesleyan. This week's goals were the first of the season for Strosser. She now has four total assists.
Field Hockey Honor Roll
Hannah Daley, Eastern Mennonite (So., GK - Lothian,
Md.)
Daley made 22 saves guarding the Royals cage last
week, allowing just six goals. She made 10 stops in a 4-1
loss at Washington and Lee, and then registered 12 more saves in a
2-1 loss to Randolph-Macon. She has seven double-digit save
contests this season.
Grace Ann Edgerton, Lynchburg (Sr., A - Fieldale,
Va.)
Edgerton scored the lone goal of the contest in a
1-0 win over Shenandoah, giving LC solo control of first place in
the conference standings.
Carrie Jacobs, Randolph-Macon (Sr., M - Orange,
Va.)
Jacobs had an assist on in the Yellow Jackets 3-2
setback to non-conference Centre. She followed that with a
goal in R-MC's 2-1 road win at EMU.
Maggie Waxter, Washington and Lee (So., A - Baltimore,
Md.)
Waxter notched the first hat-trick of her career in a
4-1 win over EMU, the most goals scored by a General in a
single-game this season.
