Tucker, junior from Manakin Sabot, Va., picks up her second straight weekly honor after leading Washington and Lee to a pair of ODAC victories. Tucker registered 11 points for the week as the Generals moved into a tie with Roanoke at 3-0 in league play following a 5-2 win at Eastern Mennonite and an 8-3 triumph over Randolph-Macon. She registered two goals at EMU, notching the second and third tallies of the game. Against R-MC, she registered the second, sixth and eight goals while assisting on Grace Amaden's score in the 68th minute. For the season, Tucker has moved into a tied for third in the ODAC with 20 points on nine goals and two assists. He nine goals are also third in the league.
Field Hockey Honor Roll
Nikki Simpao, M, LC: Became the 11th player in program history to reach 120 career points with three goals and an assist last week. She scored twice in a 4-1 victory at Lebanon Valley. She then added a goal on a penalty stroke and an assist in a 5-2 win at Bridgewater.
Maria Teresa Ambrogi-Torres, F/M, R-MC: Score the Jackets goal in a 2-1 loss at Shenandoah and came thru with two goals and the assist on the third in an 8-3 setback at Washington and Lee.
Stacey Staley, D, RC: Anchors a backline that did not surrender a shot to Sweet Briar in a 9-0 Maroons road win and held firm to allow RC to post a 3-2 comeback victory over Shenandoah.
Julie Fassl, F, VWU: Assisted on both of Virginia Wesleyan's goals in a 2-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite.
