Jackie Lerro, Lynchburg, Fr., Forward

Lerro, a freshman from Royersford, Pa., picks up her second weekly award of the season after registering 11 points in three Lynchburg victories last week. Lerro began scoring explosion with the opening goal and an assist in a 4-0 non-conference victory at Stevenson. She then scored all three goals in the Hornets' 3-1 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan. Lerro again provided the winning scoring in LC's second ODAC win of the week, this time notching the second goal of the game in a 3-1 win at Shenandoah. For the season, Lerro is second in the ODAC with 38 points, just two behind teammate Nikki Simpao. Lerro leads the league with 18 goals scored.

Field Hockey Honor Roll

Tessa Tierson, F, BC: Extended her goal-scoring streak to six straight games with all three goals in a 3-1 win over Eastern Mennonite. She has scored 11 goals over those half-dozen contests.

Victoria Cappadora, F, R-MC: Scored three goals in the Yellow Jackets 14-0 victory over Sweet Briar.

Leonore Keunen, M, RC: Scored three times in the Maroons' 5-2 win at Eastern Mennonite.

Hayden Thornbrugh, M, VWU: Tied a school-record with five goals in a 13-0 victory at Sweet Briar. The 13 goals set a program record.

Haley Tucker, F, W&L: Registered 11 points in a pair of Generals' wins. Scored twice including the game-winner in overtime in a 4-3 win at Shenandoah. Followed that with three goals and an assist in a 5-3 non-conference win at Dickinson. The hat trick is her third of the season, tying a program record.
