ODAC GOLFER OF THE YEAR and ODAC/VIRGINIA FARM BUREAU INSURANCE SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
If the season is over for Lynchburg sophomore Emily Brubaker, then she closed it with a bang after winning for the fourth time this year at the ODAC Women's Golf Championship. The 2021 ODAC Rookie of the Year started the season with a win at Bridgewater Invitational (72-74) and added medals at the Hill City Invitational (78-71) and Historic Triangle Invitational (73-74). She now must wait to see if she will earn an at-large individual selection to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. Her Golfstat ranking, which will play a major role in her possible selection, was 37th in the country as of 4/21/22. Those should be updated one more time prior to the NCAA committee making its decisions.

In the classroom, Brubaker maintains a 3.86 grade point average as a marketing major with a minor in digital media marketing. She was a WGCA Scholar All-American in 2021. She is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma honor society and serves as the Vice President for Alumni Relations in Lynchburg's chapter of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. This past summer, Brubaker served as a marketing intern for Nautical Wheelers shoe and clothing retailer in Oriental, N.C.

ODAC COACH OF THE YEAR
Third-year head coach Kelsie Carralero has won just as many ODAC top coaching awards after leading the Generals to three straight titles. A former four-time All-American at Methodist University, Carralero and nationally 10th-ranked Washington and Lee will again be playing in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships after claiming the ODAC's automatic entry into the field. In addition to winning the ODAC Championship, W&L placed in the top-five in four tournaments including a runner-up showing in its own Generals Invite.

ODAC ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Washington and Lee first-year Laetitia Roegner put together a strong inaugural season in Lexington that featured three top-10 finishes. She was W&L's top player (T-7th) in a national field at the Division III Preview, and tied for fourth at the Generals Invite. She added a seventh place showing in the ODAC Championship. Roegner shot 80 or better in nine of her 13 rounds played.

ODAC SPORTSWOMAN OF THE YEAR
Bridgewater junior Shaina Beach improved her average by nine strokes from 2021 to 2022. Her demeanor on the course is most impressive, with her coach describing her style as playing "with quiet grace, believing in doing the little things, like helping an opponent lokk for their ball."
