NORMAN, Okla. --- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their finalized lists of Ping All-American awards on Tuesday. Five ODAC standouts earned recognition on the four-team list of honorees.
The GCAA previously announced its Ping First Team All-Americans following the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. Guilford College's Michael Vick, the ODAC Player of the Year, was among the eight players on the that squad.
On Tuesday, four more ODAC stars earned All-America distinction with two each on the second and third teams. Vick's Quakers teammate Sam Davidson was joined by Averett University's Max Petterson as Ping Second Team All-Americans. Petterrson, the Phil Mickelson Award Winner as the Division III's top freshman, saw Cougars teammate Antti Vahvaselka earn Ping Third Team All-America laurels along with Washington and Lee University standout Pierce Robinson.
