Branson Terrell, Lynchburg, Sr.

Terrell, a senior from Lynchburg, Va., helped lead Lynchburg to its first team tournament victory since 2013 as he claimed medalist honors at the Hill City Invitational hosted by Lynchburg at Boonsboro Country Club. Terrell opened with a 3-under 69 on the par-72 layout set at 6,793 yards. It was the low-round of the tournament by two strokes. He followed up with a 1-over 73 in round two, tied for the second-lowest round of the day. Terrell finished with a 2-under 142, seven strokes clear of Nathan Ouimette from Southern Virginia in second place. Lynchburg racked up a 631 team score at 314-317, one stroke off the program's tournament score record.
