Natalie Hill, Shenandoah, So.

Hill, a sophomore from Smithfield, N.C., won the SU Spring Fling hosted by Shenandoah University last week in Kissimmee, Fla. The individual medal is the first of her collegiate career. Hill finished at 20-over 162 following two rounds on the par-71 track set to 5,814 yards at The Reserve Course. She opened with an 11-over 82 to sit one shot back of Patricia Windholtz from Mt. St. Joseph. Hill's second round 9-over 80 was more than enough to overtake Windholtz and hold off teammate Madison Ngo by two strokes to top the 34-woman field. Hill's efforts helped the Hornets tie for second out of six teams at 149-over 717 (363-354).
