Roegner, a first-year from Greenwich, Conn., shined in a national field at the NCAA Division III Women's National Preview hosted at eventual national championship site Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. The event, which was shortened to 18 holes due to weather, featured players from 16 of the top D-III programs in the country including 15 that were rated 24th or better last season by Golfstat. Roegner was up to the task on the par-72 track set to 5,804 yards as she tied for seventh overall at 2-over par 74. She carded one birdie and 14 pars on the way to finishing four strokes back of medalist Alison Takamiya from George Fox University. Washington and Lee finished fifth as a team at 21-over 309.
