Vets WLU and LC Joined by Rookies R-MC and VWC
SALEM, Va. --- Washington and Lee University,
Randolph-Macon College and Virginia Wesleyan College will join
top-seeded Lynchburg College in the 2008 ODAC Men's Lacrosse
Championship.
Lynchburg and Washington and Lee are accustomed to post-season
play, both making their seventh tournament appearances and each
having two ODAC Championships under their belt. Virginia
Wesleyan and Randolph-Macon, on the other hand, are both rookies to
postseason play.
Semifinal action begins on Tuesday, April 29 with #1 Lynchburg
(14-2, 6-0) hosting #4 Randolph-Macon (7-6, 2-4) at 7:00 p.m.
The second semifinal features #2 Washington and Lee (9-5,
5-1) hosting #3 Virginia Wesleyan (10-6, 4-2) at 4:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, April 30. The championship game will be played at
the highest remaining seed on Sunday, May 4.
