USILA Recognizes ODAC All-Americans

Roanoke has Six Honorees, Thomas First Team

SALEM, Va. --- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its annual NCAA All-American Teams and 12 ODAC standouts were included amongst its Division III ranks.  Roanoke College led the way with six honorees including the league's lone first teamer in attackman Zach Thomas.  Washington and Lee University (4), Lynchburg College (1) and Hampden-Sydney College (1) also were represented.

Thomas was joined by second team selection Stephen Simmons at long-stick midfielder as well as a pair of third team choices in midfielder Chas Carlson and defender Sam Love.  Attackman Pat March and midfielder Justin Tuma received honorable mention recognition.

Harry St. John, the ODAC Player of the Year, highlighted Washington and Lee's contingent as a second team selection at midfielder.  Defender James Shanahan was named to the third team, and attackman Will Keigler and goalkeeper Connor Locke secured spots on the honorable mention team.

Lynchburg's Tyler Tolson earned an honorable mention slot at attack, and Hampden-Sydney's Kyle Jett did the same from the midfield.
