FOREST, Va. --- University of Lynchburg defenseman Tyler Gallagher and attackman Colin Dean highlight the ODAC's contingent of student-athletes receiving All-America honors in men's lacrosse. A total of 19 conference stars earned All-American recognition from USA Lacrosse Magazine and/or the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

Gallagher, the ODAC Player of the Year as well as the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was tabbed to the All-America First Team by both USA Lacrosse Magazine and the USILA. Dean was a first team pick by the USA Lacrosse Magazine and a third team choice by the USILA.

Seventeen ODAC standouts were named to the USILA Honorable Mention All-America squad. Those individuals include:

Gallagher, a graduate student from Palmyra, Pa., anchored the conference's best scoring defense. He totaled 52 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers while also notching two goals and an assist. It's his second-career USILA All-America nod after receiving an honorable mention in 2019. (The USILA did not hand out All-America honors in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.)

Dean, a graduate student from Havre de Grace, Md., led the team and the ODAC with 50 goals and added 16 assists and 16 ground balls. Also a first-team All-ODAC selection, this is his first-career All-America nod.
