Vin Curran, Lynchburg, Sr., Midfielder

Curran, a senior from Hull, Mass., was an instrumental part in the Hornets 13-12 upset over two-time defending national champion and #1-ranked Salisbury University. Curran handled the majority of the faceoffs for the first time in his career, and won 60% of them against last year's first team All-American faceoff man. In addition he scooped up four groundballs.  He also scored two goals, with the second one coming with 15 seconds remaining which proved to be the game-winner as caused a turnover to prevent a potential game-tying goal.  The victory marked the first for LC over Salisbury since 2003.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Adam Fiore, Guilford - (Fr, Attack - Ithaca, NY, 47):
Fiore led Guilford with three points and two goals in the Quakers' home loss to Colorado College, 11-8.  He also caused a turnover.

Brad Mostowy, Hampden-Sydney -
(Sr, M - Atlanta, GA, 8)
Mostowy dominated on face-offs and in ground balls against Mary Washington, winning 14-of-20 face-off attempts along with 15 ground balls in the Tigers' 9-8 win. The 14 face-off wins matched his third highest career total and the 15 ground balls are tied for his second highest career total.

Tyler McWilliams, Roanoke -
(Fr, A - Downingtown, PA, 11)
McWilliams scored three goals and notched two assists in Roanoke's 13-12 loss to St. Mary's on Sunday afternoon. He also picked up three groundballs and took six shots, all of which were on goal.

Jason Andrews, Randolph-Macon -
(Jr, M - Hereford, MD, 20)
Andrews helped the Yellow Jackets to its first home victory under the lights of the new Day Field. Andrews scored three goals and dished out three assists to propel the Jackets so a 15-11 win over Catholic. Andrews also picked up eight ground balls and caused one turnover. 

Nick Pappas, Va. Wesleyan -
(Jr, A - Edgewater, Md., 18)
Pappas led VWC in scoring with five goals and four assists in the Marlins 17-5 season-opening win over Ferrum.

Cameron Dabir, Washington and Lee -
(So, A - Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., 26)
Dabir helped lead W&L to a 2-0 week by totaling four goals and five assists for nine points. In a 23-4 win over Ferrum to begin the season, he notched three goals and three assists, while collecting three ground balls. In a 12-9 win over Christopher Newport on Saturday, Dabir notched one goal and two assists.
