Ohrem, a senior from Ridgfield, Conn., helped lead the sixth-ranked Hornets to a pair of wins last week, including a 25-6 conference triumph over Guilford. Ohrem had a goal and an assist in a tight 5-4 win over McDaniel College. He also picked up four groundballs. He followed that with three goals and a helper in LC's win at Guilford. Ohrem now has 14 points on 11 goals and three assists this season.
Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Henry Farley, Guilford -
(Sr, A - Decatur, Ga., 5)
Farley led Guilford's scorers in a 1-1 week. He had four
points on two goals and an assist in a 13-5 win over Farmingdale
State. He tallied a team-high two helpers in a loss to
6th-ranked Lynchburg. He also caused a team-high two
turnovers against the Hornets.
Brad Mostowy, Hampden-Sydney - (Sr, M -
Atlanta, GA, 8)
Mostowy was strong on face-offs this week as he won 12 of his 18
attempts while also scooping 11 ground balls in a 13-5 win over
Bridgewater. Mostowy is the All Division NCAA Active leader in
ground balls and is third in face-offs won. On the season, Mostowy
is 77-122 (63.1%) on face-offs with 59 ground balls. He is tops in
the ODAC in ground balls per game (8.43) and face-off win
percentage.
Justin Butler, Randolph-Macon - (Jr, M -
Ocean City, MD / Worcester Prep, 9)
Butler tallied eight goals on 15 shots for Randolph-Macon in a 1-1
week. Butler finished with a game-high five goals as the Yellow
Jackets knocked off Ferrum during the week. On Saturday at No.9
Washington and Lee, the junior attacker scored three goals and
added an assist. Butler was key in R-MC's man-up opportunities,
tallying four man-up goals for the week.
Richard Lachlan, Roanoke - (Sr, A - Port
Coquitlam, B.C., 19)
In Roanoke's 2-1 week, Richard Lachlan finished the three games
with 12 points. He had six goals and three assists in Roanoke's
18-6 win over Wooster. He had one goal and one assist in the 18-4
win over Randolph. He finished with one assist in a 17-5 loss to #7
Salisbury. With his goals this week, he has moved into second
all-time in scoring at Roanoke.
Joe Papetti, Va. Wesleyan - (So, Attack
- Edgewater, Md., 13)
Papetti scored in both games in a 1-1 week for the Marlins,
beginning with four goals in a loss to undefeated Ithaca
College. He scored VWC's last three goals of the game in a span of
less than five minutes. Several days later, in an ODAC match
against Shenandoah, he added two more goals, both in the second
quarter, to help the Marlins to a 10-2 halftime lead. He has scored
eight goals this season and ranks No. 2 on the team in ground balls
with 21. He has scored at least one goal in three straight
games.
Mac Means, Washington and Lee - (Sr, A -
Sewickley, Pa., 18)
Means helped lead the W&L men's lacrosse team to a 13-9 win
over Randolph-Macon on Saturday by totaling four goals and one
assist. For the season, Means has notched at least two points in
every game and he leads the Generals in scoring with 17 goals and
eight assists for 25 points.
