Steve Latona, Shenandoah, Fr., Attack

Latona, a freshman from Ellicott City, Md., notched 15 points in a pair of non-conference wins for Shenandoah.  In a 23-1 triumph at Southern Virginia, Latona scored five times and dished out an assist.  He followed that with five more tallies and four helpers for nine points in a 16-4 victory versus Alvernia.  He added a pair of ground balls.  Latona currently leads the ODAC with 19 points and 12 goals scored.  His seven assists are tied for second.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Thomas Deane, Guilford (Jr., GK - St. Louis, Mo.)
Deane made 29 stops and picked up seven ground balls in the Quakers 2-0 week.  He had 12 stops in a 15-9 win over Ferrum, and came away with 17 saves in a 12-6 victory against Oneonta State.

Bobby Distler, Lynchburg (So., M - New Canaan, Conn.)
Distler controlled the face-off for the 11th-ranked Hornets as he was 11-of-15 from the center circle in LC's 8-5 win over Franklin & Marshall.  He also had a goal and an assist in addition to three ground balls.

Justin Butler, Randolph-Macon (Sr., M - Ocean City, Md.)
Butler registered six points in R-MC's two contests last week.  He socred once and helped on another in a 13-7 loss to Mary Washington.  He followed that with two goals and two more assists in an 11-10 setback to Catholic.

Rory Finnegan, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr., GK)
Finnegan recorded 30 saves between the pipes in the Marlins 9-8 victory at Greensboro.  He made 10 saves in the opening period, and stopped 11 stops in the four frame.  The 30 saves ties the second-most in VWC history and is the most for any VWC keeper since 1990.
