Murphy, a junior from Downington, Pa., helped the Hornets to a season-opening win over Salisbury University in a battle of top-rated teams.  Eighth-ranked LC defeated the #3 Sea Gulls, 12-7.  Murphy, a preseason All-American, scored five goals and dished out a pair of assists.  He also picked up a pair of ground balls.  Murphy's goals came on six shots on frame.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Ryan Davidson, Randolph-Macon (So., Attack - Logan Township, N.J.)
Davidson scored four times and helped out on two others in the Yellow Jackets 10-8 season-opening win over Piedmont.  He also picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover.

Stephen Latona, Shenandoah (So., A - Ellicott City, Md.)
Latona has combined for six goals and seven assists in the Hornets first two wins.  He had five goals and five assists in an 18-7 triumph over Southern Virginia.  He added one goal and two helpers in a 9-7 victory over Methodist.
