Funk, a senior from Chantilly, Va., helped the Tigers to a pair of ODAC wins, including an overtime triumph over Washington and Lee. In a 9-6 win over Guilford, Funk scored twice and dished out an assist. Versus the Generals, he talled two more goals, including the game-winner in overtime. He also handed out a helper. For the season, Funk has registered 23 points on 13 goals and 10 assists.
Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Alex Brownlee, Guilford (So., A - Skaneateles, N.Y.)
Brownlee notched six points last week. He had one goal in a 9-6 loss at H-SC, but then followed with a game-high five points on two goals and three assists in a 12-7 victory over Bridgewater. He also had five ground balls.
Todd Galvin, Lynchburg (Sr., A - Whitman, Mass.)
Galvin scored three times and dished out two assists in the Hornets 13-6 win over Roanoke. He added two ground balls to his second hat-trick of the season.
Baden James, Randolph (Jr. D - Alexandria, Va.)
James caused nine turnovers and picked up 14 ground balls in Randolph's 0-2 week. He scored a goal each against Roanoke (L, 17-6) and Randolph-Macon (L, 15-9).
Miles Muncie, Randolph-Macon (Fr., M - Midlothian, Va.)
Muncie scored three times and dished out an assist in the Yellow Jackets 15-9 road win at Randolph.
Josh Currier, Virginia Wesleyan (So., A - Peterborough, Ontario)
Currier lifted VWC to an 11-10 win over Shenandoah with the game-winning goal with 1:01 left in overtime. He scored three times with two assists for the game.
