Austin Stewart, Lynchburg, Jr., Attack

Stewart, a junior from Reisterstown, Md., helped the fifth-ranked Hornets to three more victories last week, including two ODAC triumphs and in a top-10 matchup.  Stewart opened with seven goals and an assist as the Lynchburg topped Washington and Lee, 15-6.  He then tallied five times as LC defeated Bridgewater, 18-4.  A day later, the Hornets traveled to then nationally sixth-ranked Stevenson and down the Mustangs, 13-9.  Stewart scored four times, bringing his weekly total to 16 goals and 17 points.  Stewart leads the ODAC with 54 points and 49 goals scored.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Thomas Deane, Guilford (Sr., GK - St. Louis, Mo.)
Deane helped the Quakers to a 2-0 week by making 24 saves in front of goal.  He made six stops in a 13-3 triumph over Methodist.  He followed that with a season-best 18 saves to help preserve the Quakers first win over Randolph-Macon (7-6) since 2006.

Mike Funk, Hampden-Sydney (Sr., A - Chantilly, Va.)
Funk notched 12 points in the Tigers 2-0 week.  He scored once and dished out three assists in a 15-3 win over Greensboro.  He then posted an eight-point game over Randolph, scoring four times and dishing out four assists in a 17-9 victory.

Shane Soghomonian, Randolph (So., A - Gaithersburg, Md.)
Soghomonian scored three times in a 10-9 setback to Ferrum.  He followed that with a goal and three helpers in a 17-9 loss at Hampden-Sydney.

Alex Camilliere, Randolph-Macon (Fr., M - Huntington, Md.)
Camilliere scored three times in the Yellow Jackets loss to Guilford, marking R-MC's lone game of the week.

Max Kraus, Roanoke (Jr., M/FO - Winnetka, Ill.)
Kraus was 21-of-32 on face-offs against Virginia Wesleyan, adding an assist and eight ground balls in the 17-15 loss.

Josh Currier, Virginia Wesleyan (So., A - Peterborough, Ontario)
Currier scored a career-high seven goals with an assist as VWC defeated Roanoke, 17-15.  He added seven ground balls.  He's just three points shy of VWC's points record (212 to 215) and is third with 99 career assists.
