Sarro, a sophomore from Baltimore, Md., put together a 15-point week as Roanoke registered a pair of ODAC victories to remain in the mix at the top of the ODAC standings. Sarro opened with a career-high nine points on three goals and six assists in a 25-4 triumph over Bridgewater. He also picked up a ground ball. Sarro then registered six points on three goals and three assists in a 16-9 road win at Virginia Wesleyan. He added two ground balls in that contest. For the season, Sarro is second in the ODAC with 70 points, eighth in goals scored with 31, and #1 in the league with 39 assists.
Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Hunter Brown, H-SC: registered eight points on five goals and three assists in two wins, helping him become the first H-SC player with 100 goals and 100 assists in his career. Scored twice and dished out an assist in a 23-5 non-conference win over William Peace. Added three goals and two assists in a 15-5 triumph at Guilford.
Evan Lombardo, LC: scored once in a 25-3 win at Randolph. Added six goals and an assist in a 15-13 setback to Washington and Lee. Has now scored in five straight games.
Colin DiSesa, R-MC: scored once and dished out an assist in a 13-5 triumph at Shenandoah. Followed with four goals and two assists in a 25-4 win over Randolph. Collected five ground balls and two caused turnovers on the week.
A.J. Witherell, W&L: helped W&L take over sole possession of first place in the ODAC with 11 points in two wins. Had four goals and an assist in a 10-1 non-conference triumph over Susquehanna. Keyed a 15-13 win over Lynchburg and recovery from a 6-3 first period deficit with four goals and two assists. Now fifth on W&L's all-time scoring list with 215 points.
