Alexander, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Va., played a major role in Bridgewater picking up a pair of victories last week as he won 82.1-percent (32-of-39) of his face-offs and collected 25 ground balls over the two contests. In a 17-10 win over Wilkes University, Alexander won 17-of-22 face-offs (77.3%) with 14 ground balls. He had stretches of five and six straight face-offs won, helping Bridgewater to 11 first-half goals. Alexander was even better in a 24-5 ODAC win at Virginia Wesleyan. In addition to scoring the first two collegiate goals of his career, Alexander won 15-of-17 (88.2%) face-offs and picked up 11 ground balls. For the season, Alexander leads the ODAC in face-offs won (72-of-121) and ground balls (51), the latter of which is 10th in Division III.
